This week’s cuts include Briskets, New York Strip Steaks, Hot Dogs, and the 3F Steak Special!
Also, a weekend flash deal of 20% off on flatiron steaks!
Also we just restocked some pork and some of those pastured organic specialty cheeses (brie and feta) from our friends Ernie and Jen at Lifeline Farms!
That’s Becky (4th daughter) here and Maddy (the youngest), out building jack fence on a windy day! The finished fence will border one of our pastures and keep the cattle from getting out of the field and into the ranch yard.
Becky and Maddy again, this time burying a gatepost for their fence. A little bit of snow coming down never stopped them–Maddy just put her hood up! As for Allie, the big white pyrenees who watches over them, she never worries at all about protection from the weather.
Quote of the Week

Death on the Trail of Yellow
“Hey Marc. Chris. Check this out.” I gestured into the murk of a thick subalpine fir and Engelmann spruce patch from the more open forest of lodgepole we were hiking through. “I’m wondering if this is it.”
It was 1989, and we were high in the seemingly endless pitch and roll of dark-timbered subalpine forests, high up on the Continental Divide boundary between Idaho and Montana when I spotted the log shack nestled in the thick spruce timber by the spring.

- Hot Dogs! The ultimate crowd pleaser, without the junk found in your typical dog.
Here’s the Janie mare, one of many young 3 to 5-year-old horses the girls will be training this spring and getting ready to ride on the range. Janie is a quick and very smart little mare who is hopefully going to have some “cow” sense, too!
And that’s it for this week!
Thanks again for partnering in what we do!
Glenn, Caryl, cowgirls and cowboys at Alderspring.
We’ve been crafting our pastured protein here in Idaho’s Rocky Mountains for nearly 30 years and delivering it direct to our partners for nearly as long. This is wild wellness, delivered from our ranch to your door.
