- 1 12- oz <a href="http://www.alderspring.com/store/product5.html">Alderspring Organic Grass Fed Flank Steak</a>
- 1 small onion (quartered)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 – inch cube of fresh ginger root (peeled)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Puree the onion, garlic, and ginger root. Add the soy sauce, honey, and oil, blending well. Reserve 1/4 cup marinade. Coat the steak in remaining marinade, and place in a covered glass dish or in a ziplock; marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- Grill the flank steak for five to six minutes on each side, and baste it several times with the reserved marinade.
- Once the steak has reached the desired internal temperature (145 degrees F = rare, 155-160 degrees F = medium, 170 degrees F = well-done), remove from the grill and set on a plate. Cover the plate with a stainless steel bowl or aluminum foil, and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
